New Wave News

We have some exciting news to share with our Caboolture, Moreton Bay, North Brisbane and Sunshine Coast communities. We currently have immediate capacity to support new participants!

Our incredible team of Support Workers is ready to get out into their local communities, build genuine connections and start supporting participants who are looking for the right support team around them.

We’re so proud of the people behind New Wave Care. Our Support Workers bring experience, compassion, reliability and a genuine commitment to supporting each participant to live life their way!

If you or someone you support is currently looking for a provider, we’d love to hear from you. We’re also welcoming conversations with Support Coordinators who are looking for a team with experience in complex and higher-level support needs.

Ready to have a chat?

Head over to our team page on the top section of the website and reach out to the amazing Service Coordinator in your local area.

They’d love to hear from you, have a chat about what matters to you and see if New Wave Care could be the right team to support you.

Our amazing Support Workers have been getting stuck into training to refresh their existing skills, build their knowledge and upskill, all with one goal in mind: making sure our participants continue to receive the best possible care and support.

And we are absolutely here for it!

A HUGE shoutout to the incredible team at SunRay EduTraining, who have been providing training to our team and helping our Support Workers strengthen their skills, knowledge and confidence.

We believe ongoing learning isn’t just important, it’s essential.

The needs of our participants can be complex and every person we support has their own goals, preferences and individual support needs. That’s why we are committed to investing in the ongoing learning and development of our Support Workers.

We want our team to have the knowledge, skills and confidence to provide safe, quality and responsive support, while continuing to grow professionally along the way.

Training isn’t simply about ticking a box or collecting another certificate. It’s about making sure our Support Workers feel prepared, supported and confident in their roles, and that our participants can have confidence in the team supporting them.

When we invest in our Support Workers, we’re investing directly in the quality of care our participants receive.

We’re incredibly proud of our Support Workers for showing up, getting involved and continuing to invest in their skills. Your commitment to learning makes a real difference to the people you support every day.

And to the team at SunRay EduTraining, thank you for sharing your knowledge and helping our team continue to level up!

Great care starts with great people who never stop learning.

Keep learning. Keep growing. Keep making positive waves.

We are SO excited to share that New Wave Care has officially been recognised with a Beyond Barriers Award!

A huge thank you to the incredible teams at Five Bridges, Look Now Training and Peak College Australia for recognising our commitment to creating opportunities, breaking down barriers and helping people build brighter, more meaningful futures. This recognition celebrates organisations working to create inclusive opportunities, support education, training and employment pathways, build confidence and independence, and strengthen community connection, and we are incredibly proud to stand alongside organisations championing this work.

For us, this isn’t just about receiving an award. It’s about what it represents. It represents possibility, opportunity and believing in people. It’s about opening doors, creating pathways and backing people to learn, grow, contribute and build a future they can be proud of. We are incredibly grateful to be part of a community that is helping make that happen. A massive congratulations to our incredible team, and a huge thank you to the Five Bridges Alliance for recognising the work we do.

We’re proud to keep breaking barriers, opening doors and making positive waves!
