About Us

New Wave Care is built on more than 30 years of experience in Queensland’s disability sector.

Before New Wave Care became an NDIS provider, our founders spent more than three decades working as equipment specialists, supporting people living with disability and working alongside their families, therapists and healthcare professionals.

Over those years, they saw first-hand that good support is about so much more than having the right equipment. They saw the challenges participants and families faced, the importance of having skilled and experienced people around participants, and the enormous difference that the right support can make to someone’s everyday life.

Those experiences shaped the way New Wave Care approaches care today.

We understand that supporting someone with complex and ongoing needs requires experience, specialised skills, consistency, strong communication and people who genuinely understand the individual they are supporting. It’s not about simply filling a shift. It’s about building trust, knowing what good support looks like and having the right people in place.

That experience is at the heart of New Wave Care today.

As New Wave Care has grown, one thing has remained exactly the same: the people we support always come first.

We want people to feel safe, respected, understood and supported to live their lives their way. We want families to know they have a team they can rely on.

We also understand that great support starts with great people.

That’s why investing in our Support Workers and creating a positive, supportive workplace culture is so important to our directors. They believe Support Workers do their best work when they feel valued, heard, respected and supported.

We want our Support Workers to feel confident, valued and genuinely supported to do what they do best. We want them to know they have a team behind them, a voice that is heard and a workplace where their contribution matters.
